Family Affairs

We're getting super excited for everything to come. The save-the-dates are printed and semi-assembled! On top of that, my sister is INCREDIBLE. She borrowed her boyfriend's mom's super nice camera and came with us to the beach where she was our photographer for some engagement pics. They turned out AMAZING. She was super pro, too. She even climbed up on a rock ledge to get an angle of us on the beach at sunset. We treated her to some Golden Spoon afterwards, but we cannot thank her enough! I'm so lucky to have a best friend like my Yissa. THANK YOU, LYSS!

The photos are coming soon... because Uncle Steve has kindly been working on the pictures to enhance them for us! It is certainly a family affair. THANK YOU, UNCLE STEVE!

Andrew and I also registered this weekend! You can see our registries on the page tab above. This is what we've discovered... we both have very similar taste. We want our home to be warm and cozy, yet clean and heavenly and airy. So we were right on cue with most of the items we selected...  Except for bedding. He has "bold, masculine, color block, symmetrical shapes" in mind. I have "wrap me up like a burrito and hold me in downfeathers and soft floral designs" in mind. COMPLETE OPPOSITES. It will be interesting finding something we can agree on. Not to mention, Leroi has a say, too.

Many of our decisions together, whether daily or longterm, pretty much revolve around Leroi. We've become that couple who not only obsesses over our beagle boy, but we obsess over every other beagle as well. We've become that couple who goes into Petco to not just grab Leroi's organic dog food, but we look at the beagle calendars and immediately start talking like we're cooing at a newborn. Our little family means everything to us, so if that's what we are, then so be it! We love the Mushykiss!

I am off to go hang with my family for a bit, but I have to mention the fact that I will be seeing Ogles and Dreiseszuns in a few weeks for Ryan and Ele's wedding in St. Louis! We can't wait to see everyone and man-oh-man, this wedding is gonna be AWESOME! We miss our Ogle bros and sissies!
